WFTV Awards 2007

The WFTV Annual Awards ceremony 2007 has been hailed as the best yet, with over 900 luminaries from the Film and Television industry attending the glamorous event at the Park Lane Hilton.

The awards honoured the professional achievements of ten talented women, each in different areas of the industry. The winners were presented their awards by suitably distinguished figures to reflect the esteem that their successes deserve; from Simon Cowell presenting Elisabeth Murdoch with the Business Award, to His Excellency Dr Mohammad Rahim Sherzoy presenting Lyse Doucet with the News and Factual Award.

As well as the ceremony itself, guests enjoyed a bucks-fizz reception, three-course meal and post-awards drinks, which all combined to make the occasion utterly memorable and the perfect way to end the year in style.
