Equity is urging all performers to complete this online survey which will collect data to show the effects of a performer’s age, gender and other social identities on their access to employment. This is the biggest survey of its kind and these findings will be used as the basis for negotiation with employers, funding bodies and governments to help us improve opportunities throughout your career.

Working with the International Federation of Actors (FIA) funding has been secured from the European Union (EU) for what Equity hopes will become a major reference study on performer’s social identities and how they relate to portrayal and access to work in film, television and live performance.

Performer's unions throughout the EU are participating in this important piece of research and as many performers as possible are being encouraged to take part.
