Why Become a Member
WFTV (UK) are the leading membership organisation for women working in creative media in the UK and part of an international network of over 10,000 women worldwide. We’ve been established in the UK for over 20 years and host more than 80 events a year.
As a member, you get exclusive access to the Members’ Area of the WFTV website, which includes industry news, jobs, offers and discounts, and a place for you to build your online profile and connect with other members. You also get access to our monthly events programme, which includes workshops, masterclasses, panel discussions, networking and more.
Becoming a member of WFTV also shows that you back the larger aims of the organisation, which are to support and celebrate women in our industry and to lobby on their behalf. Our Working Party, which is chaired by our CEO and includes representatives from across the industry and media academics, strives to improve the representation of women both in-front of and behind the camera and works alongside government and other key industry organisations to do so.
Becoming a member of WFTV makes you part of an active, friendly and ambitious network of female professionals working in creative media, as well as part of a greater goal to improve the working environment for women in the industry and beyond.
How much does it cost?
We have 2 types of membership, London and Country:
Annual London Membership is £100 +VAT, which works out at just £10 a month.
Annual Country Membership, for those who live anywhere in the UK outside the M25, is £50 +VAT, which works out at just £5 a month.
Membership dues can be paid in quarterly installments or once a year as an annual payment. We accept a variety of payment methods, including by card, Paypal or Direct Debit.
The cheaper rate for those living outside of London reflects the fact that the majority of our events take place in London.
