WFTV Q&A: In Conversation with Unjoo Moon,

Director/Producer – I Am Woman

Join WFTV for a conversation with the director and producer behind the film I Am Woman, Unjoo Moon.

In this event, our host Christiana Ebohon-Green will be speaking to the filmmaker about her experiences of making her debut feature film which tells the story of the late Helen Reddy, writer and singer of ‘I Am Woman’. They will be discussing Unjoo’s inspiration for the film, the story of Helen Reddy’s life and the significance the song ‘I Am Woman’ had during the 1970s women’s liberation movement.

After the talk you will have the opportunity to put your questions to Unjoo during the audience Q&A.

Director and Producer

Unjoo Moon

Unjoo has directed and produced award-winning short films, music videos, commercials and documentaries which have screened internationally at film festivals and on network television. Her feature documentary The Zen of Bennett was released theatrically and has streamed on both Netflix and Amazon.

I Am Woman is Unjoo’s narrative feature directorial debut.

Christiana Ebohon-Green

Christiana is an award-winning NFTS trained drama director, selected for BAFTA Elevate 2017 scheme to promote female directors.

Over the last twenty years she has directed The Mallorca Files, Grantchester, Soon Gone:  A Windrush Chronicle, Call the Midwife, Father Brown, Holby City, Doctors, EastEnders, Hollyoaks and Emmerdale. She is now focused on high end drama and feature films.

She has also directed short films including Some Sweet Oblivious Antidote starring Sir Lenny Henry, Wunmi Mosaku, Colin Salmon and Fatima Koroma. The film was longlisted for the 2018 BAFTA Awards and it won Best in the Festival at Triforce 2018 and Earl’s Court Film Festival. She directed Film London Calling Plus short called, Support.
