About the Event
Are you looking to learn how to shoot? In this event Director of Photography Piers Leigh will be offering an insight to camerawork in drama and documentary productions. From understanding lenses to demystifying the difference between LOG and LUT footage, Piers will also be sharing his top tips to keep in mind when for shooting for the edit.
This session is entry or refresher level for self-shooters and crew, or anyone looking to gain a further understanding of the role and considerations of a Camera Operator and Director of Photography when on shoot.

Piers is a Director of Photography based in both Bristol and London, but his work regularly takes him all over the world filming for all the major broadcasters and streaming services. With over 20 years’ experience in documentary, Piers also shoots dramas, whether large series for major players or low-budget projects with up-and-coming talents.
