About the Event

Wilderness guide, survivalist and producer Megan Hine has been working with talent and crew on TV adventure shows for the past 15 years, filming in remote locations such as the Amazon rainforest, the mountains of Tibet and the high Arctic.

In this event, Megan will be sharing practical advice on how best to prepare for an adventure shoot in different environments – from packing tips and kit lists to basic training techniques you can do at home.

Megan will also be giving an insight to scouting locations and what preparation is needed for different show formats in pre-production, to help ensure productions run safely and smoothly.

Megan Hine is a wilderness guide, survivalist, consultant and producer.

She and her partner Stani have been creating content and working with talent and crew in remote wilderness environments on  adventure shows on TV such as Bear Grylls, Car vs Wild and Curse of Akakor, for the past 15 years.

Megan has led expeditions and consulted for TV survival and adventure shows across the globe. She has recently had two of her own show pitches commissioned and has others in development.
