About the Event

WFTV invites members to this online discussion focusing on Where The Light Gets In, a LumoTV short film made by a combination of both Deaf and hearing cast and crew members.


Director Clare-Louise English, lead actor Katie Erich, cinematographer Sarah Thomas Moffat and exec producer Rachel Drummond-Hay will be discussing some of the challenges and considerations they experienced when making a short film in BSL such as working with a BSL Consultant on the translation process and on set, working with actors on translation and the creative process when working with BSL-Authenticity of language on screen. The panel will be moderated by Michelle Stein.


Please note that this online event will be BSL interpreted and captioned. There will also be an opportunity for members to watch Where The Light Gets In ahead of the webinar, the link will be sent in your registration confirmation email.
