1-2-1 Advice Clinic: Opportunity for Actors to Speak with Abigail Longstaffe, The Mandy Network

Join us over June and July for an Actors’ Group focus. This special event series will focus on the craft of acting with talks, workshops and speed networking to help expand your practice and hone your skills.

From the business of acting and tips to help you prepare for auditions, to the opportunity to network with producers and directors, there’s something for actors at all career stages.

On Wednesday 30 June, Abigail Longstaffe, International Business Development Manager at The Mandy Network, will be running 1-2-1 consultation clinics for actor members.

Whether you’re looking for guidance on headshots, feedback on your showreels or tips on how to use social media as a self-promotion tool, this is a fantastic opportunity to get advice from an industry expert.

Abigail will be offering 5x 20-minute slots to WFTV members. To maximise the opportunity, in advance of the session we ask that you please submit a couple of sentences outlining the question you would like to discuss with Abigail.

Abigail Longstaffe heads up The Mandy Network's Business Development teams in the UK, US and Canada. She originally trained at Mountview Academy and has worked as an actor in shows around the world and on the West End. She then moved out of acting, founding and running a theatrical agency before moving to The Mandy Network. She regularly gives talks to actors on the business of acting and how to promote themselves.

How will the online event work?

1-2-1 consultations will take place via Zoom meeting, or phone upon request. Zoom meeting details will be sent via email in advance of the session.

For consultations taking place via Zoom meeting, participants should access the session using a device with video and audio functions.
