Join WFTV for a conversation with multi-award-winning Executive Producer Sanne Wohlenberg, Sound Editor, Margit Pfeiffer and Casting Director Nina Gold, who will be discussing their experiences working on the latest series from the Star Wars galaxy; Disney+ title Andor. The discussion will be chaired by film and TV critic, Hanna Flint.
Sanne, Margit and Nina will give a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the series and discussing their work on Andor, recounting their experiences in the industry and what productions can do to be more inclusive of women.
Series Synopsis:
From Lucasfilm comes Andor, an original, live-action series exclusively for Disney+ that explores the Star Wars galaxy from a new perspective, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings to light the story of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.
The series stars Diego Luna (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Narcos: Mexico) returning as Cassian Andor, and Genevieve O’Reilly returning to her role of Mon Mothma. They are joined by Stellan Skarsgård (Dune, Chernobyl), Adria Arjona (Morbius, Father of the Bride), Denise Gough (Under the Banner of Heaven, Too Close), Kyle Soller (Poldark, Brexit), Fiona Shaw (Killing Eve, Baptiste) and Faye Marsay (Game of Thrones, Deep Water).
Andor is availible to watch on Disney+.

Sanne Wohlenberg, Executive Producer
Sanne has most recently produced, among others, “Chernobyl” and “Black Mirror,” as well as “Vikings.”
Margit Pfiffer, Supervising Sound Editor
Margit Pfeiffer's career spans 20 years in post production during which she has collaborated on feature films with directors Tony Gilroy, Quentin Tarantino, Ridley Scott, Oliver Stone, Zack Snyder and Guillermo del Toro. Her work as Supervising Sound Editor has taken her from Munich to Hollywood and most recently to New York and London. Margit is a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild and The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Outside of the film industry Margit is a passionate aviator, holding a private pilot certificate, a seaplane rating and training in aerobatic flight.
Nina Gold, Casting Director
Nina Gold is a casting director in television, film and occasionally theatre. Nina’s recent feature film credits include: Catherine Called Birdy; Empire of Light; The Wonder; Last Night in Soho, The Power of the Dog; The Mauritanian; The Two Popes; 1917; Star Wars: Episodes VII, VIII and IX; Jurassic World-Ancient Futures; Mamma Mia 2- Here We Go Again; Bridget Jones’ Baby; The BFG; The Danish Girl; Far from the Madding Crowd; High-Rise; The Martian; Paddington and Paddington 2; In the Heart of the Sea; The Iron Lady; The Theory of Everything; The Imitation Game; The King's Speech and Les Misérables.
She has cast eight films with Mike Leigh including Peterloo, Mr. Turner, Topsy-Turvy, Vera Drake and Another Year.

Nina has won five Artios awards for outstanding casting on The King’s Speech, My Week with Marilyn and most recently Game of Thrones and The Crown. Nina also added an Outstanding Achievement Award from Royal Television Society in 2020 to her accolades. She was also awarded the Argonon contribution to the medium award at the Women in Film & TV Awards in 2016. In April 2016 she was honored with a BAFTA Special Award for her outstanding contribution to casting over 100 television and film productions – the first time BAFTA recognised a casting director with a special award.
Host, Hanna Flint
Hanna Flint is a London-based critic, host and author who has been covering film and culture for nearly a decade. Her reviews, interviews and features have appeared in GQ, Empire, the Guardian, Elle US, Sight & Sound, Radio Times, BBC Culture and elsewhere. She is a frequent guest on BBC Radio 4’s Front Row, the co-host of MTV Movies and the weekly film review podcast Fade to Black, the co-founder of The First Film Club event series and podcast, and a member of London’s Critics’ Circle. Her debut book Strong Female Character, a movie-memoir-manifesto, is available to buy online and in bookstores.

Attending participants will not be visible to others and will be muted throughout the session. After the talk, there will be an opportunity for audience members to ask questions by using the Q&A feature.
