About the Event

The WFTV Pat Lewellyn Bursary offers generous development funding of £10,000 for TV projects which are either factual or entertainment based. Applications are now open until Friday 16 September.

If you are thinking of applying, we strongly recommend you attend this session. WFTV Chair Liz Tucker, who is also the chair of the bursary awarding committee, will be explaining what the awarding committee is looking for and the key things you need to consider when putting together your application. She will reveal the critical information you need to include, both about yourself and your TV proposal and will also be available at the end of the session to answer any questions you may have. You will also get the chance to hear from previous bursary winner, Laura Martin-Robinson who used the bursary to develop 60-minute documentary Mothers, Missiles & the American President.

How will the online event work?

This event will be live streamed via Zoom.us. Viewing details will be sent via your confirmation.

Attending participants will not be visible to others and will be muted throughout the session. After the talk, there will be an opportunity for audience members to ask their questions to the panel by using the Q&A feature.

This event is for all women working in the film and television industry and is open to WFTV members and non-members.
