One year after the launch of Boyzone: No Matter What — and with the band now reuniting in summer 2026 — this special Director Masterclass spotlights a series that broke the mould of celebrity documentaries, offering searing honesty from the band and those around them.

The Grierson-nominated series explores Boyzone’s rise to become one of the most successful and iconic boybands of all time. But behind the scenes, conflict, rivalry, betrayal and tragedy led to their falling apart. Thirty years on, all four remaining members — Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Michael ‘Mikey’ Graham — as well as their once-estranged manager, Louis Walsh, reveal the truth of what really happened: the extraordinary highs of their meteoric rise to fame, and the huge personal costs that life in a boyband demanded.
