[FULLY BOOKED] Event Opportunity: Birds of War Screening + Q&A

Dogwoof invites WFTV members to a screening of the documentary feature Birds of War, followed by a post-screening Q&A with filmmakers Janay Boulos and Abd AlKader Habak, moderated by Ben De Pear.

Birds of War follows Lebanese journalist Janay Boulos and Syrian activist-cameraman Abd AlKader Habak across 13 years of revolutions, war and exile. Told through their own archives, it is a love story and a reckoning: who gets to tell stories from conflict zones, who controls the frame, and what is lost when human lives become content. The film is “a testament to the possibility of connection amid systemic violence, and to the idea that love itself can be a form of resistance.
