Rona, fresh out of rehab, returns to the wild Orkney Islands after more than a decade away. As she reconnects with the dramatic landscape where she grew up, memories of her childhood merge with the more recent challenging events that have set her on the path to recovery.
This raw and honest film from System Crasher director Nora Fingscheidt is based on the memoir by Amy Liptrot and features another show-stopping performance from Lady Bird’s Saoirse Ronan.
The film will be introduced by Sandra Kinahan from Reclaim the Frame with a pre-recorded on-screen introduction by author/screenwriter Amy Liptrot and producer Sarah Brocklehurst.
