Nagasaki, 1964. When his father is killed, young Kikuo is taken in by a famous Kabuki actor and devotes himself to the traditional art, alongside the man's only son Across 50 years, the two share brotherhood and rivalry, scandal and glory, but only one will become the greatest living Kabuki master.
