WFTV members are invited to this special in-person preview screening and Q&A of Disney+ upcoming series, Renegade Nell. The preview screening of episode one and two will be followed by a Q&A with lead director Ben Taylor and executive producers Will Johnston and Louise Mutter.
A quick-witted and courageous young woman, Nell Jackson, is framed for murder and unexpectedly becomes the most notorious outlaw in 18th-century England. When a magical spirit called Billy appears, Nell realizes her destiny is bigger than she ever imagined.
The series is created and written by Sally Wainwright ( Happy Valley) and directed by Ben Taylor (Sex Education). Amanda Brotchie and MJ Delaney also direct episodes.
The cast includes Louisa Hartland, Joely Richardson, Pip Torrens, Alice Kremelberg, Enyi Okoronkwo, Adrian Lester and Nick Mohammed among others.
