About the Event

WFTV members are invited to this special screening of Saint Omer, followed by a Q&A with star from the film, Guslagie Malanda.  

With Saint Omer, acclaimed filmmaker Alice Diop delivers a riveting and utterly unmissablecourtroom drama. The film follows novelist Rama who attends the trial of Laurence Coly, a young woman accused of killing her 15-month-old daughter. As the legal proceedings move forward, thewords of the accused along with witness testimonies begin to shake Rama’s convictions and call intoquestion both her judgement and that of the viewer. Featuring an array of outstanding performances, this film will keep you gripped to the final moments.
