WFTV members are invited to this special in-person premiere screening of upcoming Disney+ series, The Acolyte. This screening will include a Q&A and appearances from, showrunner Leslye Headland and actors Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-Jae, Charlie Barnett, Dafne Keen, Manny Jacinto, Jodie Turner-Smith and Rebecca Henderson. The screening will include Epsiode 1 and 2 of the series.
In The Acolyte, an investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg). As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems. This new Star Wars series takes viewers into a galaxy of secrets and dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era.
