The Blame follows detectives DI Emma Crane and DI Tom Radley as they investigate the death of teenage figure skater Sophie Madsen in the seemingly peaceful town of Wakestead, uncovering a web of lies, institutional cover‑ups, and moral compromise. Adapted from Charlotte Langley’s novel, this six‑part British crime drama interweaves mystery with social commentary, tackling issues such as police corruption, exploitation, and misogyny.
