In-Person Member Networking at Hanbury Hall, London

Join WFTV for an evening of socialising. Our in-person networking sessions are for all WFTV members to meet new people in a friendly and informal setting. This month we will be at Hanbury Hall, London and will include some informal 'speed dating' networking. 

WFTV Members will be welcomed at Hanbury Hall with complimentary drinks on arrival. There will also be the opportunity to meet the WFTV team to answer any questions that you might have about WFTV and listen to your feedback.

Please note that we are unable to accomodate plus ones at this event.

Event Schedule:

18:30: Arrival and check-in

18:30-21:00: Networking and drinks

(Light nibbles and drinks with be provided)

• The venue is on the ground floor and wheelchair accessible. 

Hanbury Hall

Hanbury Hall has a fascinating history that dates back to 1719. Originally built as a small Hugenot chapel, it has accommodated many different East London congregations over the years eventually becoming part of Christ Church in 1887.

Charles Dickens was a regular visitor in the 1800s using the building for public readings of his works and in 1888 the Match Girls held their strike meetings here as they prepared to protest against working conditions at the nearby Bryant and May factory.

Today Hanbury Hall remains at the heart of the Shoreditch community, serving sandwiches, slices, pastries and hot drinks from its street front cafe, just around the corner from historic Brick Lane.
