Drawing on her own journey to learn the craft of directing, in this seminar producer/director and previous WFTV mentee, Jude Ho, will explore how we can use techniques from drama storytelling to create emotionally compelling non-fiction narratives.
Jude will be sharing the tools to help you prep, shoot and edit together a compelling and authentic documentary.
This session is for aspiring and emerging directors as well as experienced filmmakers in search of a fresh perspective.
Speaker
Jude Ho is an RTS award-winning and double Grierson nominated producer/director with a reputation for creative flair and a light comic touch. She is passionate about turning stories from the periphery into emotionally gripping documentaries. Films include The Secret Life of Sue Townsend (Aged 68 ¾) and Angela Carter: Of Wolves and Women.
She’s just finished work on landmark BBC Two Arts series Making of Us and as Head of Development at Trigger Stuff…
