Meet the Commissioner (Unscripted): Daisy Scalchi, Head of Religion and Ethics for Television, BBC

Daisy Scalchi ( Head of Religion and Ethics for Television, BBC) will be discussing the current landscape of Features and Specialist Factual, her thoughts on what makes a great show and sharing insights on how to get a project commissioned.

Daisy is the BBC's Head of Religion and Ethics for Television. Recent broadcast titles include Pilgrimage - The Road To Holy Island, Harry Clark Goes To Rome, Prayer and Reflection and The Million Pound Shaman Scam, all for BBC1, BBC2 and iPlayer. Prior to joining the BBC, Daisy was a BAFTA-nominated producer and director working across all major networks including, Discovery, NatGeo l, Netflix and the BBC. Daisy is also a trained Mediator. 

There will be an opportunity to ask Daisy questions during the last 15 minutes of the session.
