Meet the Talent Manager: Tanya Gottlieb, Talent Exec, Endemol Shine UK

In this strand, WFTV Chair, Liz Tucker, interviews leading talent managers from broadcasters and indies to give WFTV members a unique insight into what they need to do to secure their dream job.

In this session, Tanya Gottlieb, talent exec at Endemol Shine who manages talent for  Zeppotron, Sidney Street, Remarkable Television and Initial TV,  as well as other Banjay companies, will discuss the sorts of talent that she is looking for, what you need to include on your CV and the experience applicants need to have to get a job at Endemol Shine; and if they don’t have the right background what can they do to get that experience. The session will finish with a Q &A for attendees.

Tanya helps recruit and retain staff for Remarkable TV, Initial TV, Zeppotron and Sidney Street as well as supporting other Banijay companies. Focusing on popular factual, fact ents and ents, Tanya crews up researchers through to exec producers on shows including Your Home Made Perfect, Mary Berry’s Simple Comforts, Virtually History and The Wall.

Tanya started working in TV as a runner in news before working her way up to Series Producer, via a mix of factual entertainment, popular factual and ents shows including MasterChef, You Are What You Eat and Great British Menu.

How will the online event work?

This event will be live streamed via Zoom.us. Viewing details will be sent via your confirmation.

Live stream participants will not be visible to others and you will be muted throughout the session. After the talk, there will be an opportunity for audience members to ask their questions to the panel by using the Q&A feature.
