Special opportunity for WFTV members to watch NOMADLAND featuring an introduction with Chloé Zhao and Frances McDormand and a Q&A with Chloé Zhao, Frances McDormand, Peter Spears and Joshua James Richards.

Searchlight Pictures invite WFTV members to join their virtual gala screening of NOMADLAND. This screening will include a pre-recorded short introduction with director, Chloé Zhao and lead actress, Frances McDormandand a pre recorded Q&A, roughly 30 minutes long, with Chloé Zhao and Frances McDormand, actor Peter Spears and cinematographer, Joshua James Richards.

Following the economic collapse of a company town in rural Nevada, Fern (Frances McDormand) packs her van and sets off on the road exploring a life outside of conventional society as a modern-day nomad. The third feature film from director Chloé Zhao, NOMADLAND features real nomads Linda May, Swankie and Bob Wells as Fern’s mentors and comrades in her exploration through the vast landscape of the American West.

NOMADLAND premieres on Star on Disney+ on 30th April and will be available in cinemas from 17th May.

This event has limited places and tickets are on a first come, first serve basis.

How will the online event work?

Attendees will be sent a link and access code to be able to view the introduction, screening and Q&A. This event has been pre-recorded, and the live link will be available to watch from Friday 16 April 17:00 until 09:00 on Monday 19 April.
