Speed Networking: Actors meet Producers and Directors

Join us over June and July for an Actors’ Group focus. This special event series will focus on the craft of acting with talks, workshops and speed networking to help expand your practice and hone your skills.

From the business of acting and tips to help you prepare for auditions, to the opportunity to network with producers and directors, there’s something for actors at all career stages.

Take part in an evening of online Speed Networking, with the opportunity for actors to meet producers and directors working in film and TV from the WFTV membership.

Using virtual breakout rooms, this is a great chance for 1-2-1 speed networking where you will have 5 minutes to meet another WFTV member. The WFTV host will circulate members between the breakout rooms, ensuring that all actors are able to meet all the producers and directors on the call.

When you sign up for this event you’ll be asked for your name, email, job title and company alongside links to your online portfolio/LinkedIn/website if you’d like to share. You’ll then need to email claudia@wftv.org.uk with a one page resume. All this information collected will be circulated to all attendees before the session begins, so that you’ll be able to know who you’re meeting and have a reference sheet for the event.

16:55– Please join the meeting waiting room

17:00 – Speed Networking begins, you will spend 5 minutes with approximately 12 people.

19:00 – Finish

This event will be taking place as a Zoom meeting, please join using a laptop or device with camera and audio functions.

This event is for existing WFTV members only.
