Join WFTV for this event with Executive Producer Helen Tumbridge (Eurovision, Generation Game) and Line Producer Caroline Sale (Big Brother, Ninja Warrior). With a special focus on The Chase which this year celebrates 15 years on ITV, join us for a behind the scenes look at making a successful quiz show.
Hosted by journalist and broadcaster Kelly-Anne Taylor, Helen and Caroline will be discussing their journeys in the industry, experience working on a range of entertainment and quiz show formats and what they have learnt along the way as well as sharing their thoughts on the elements to make a popular and returnable quiz show format.
The Chase is now celebrating its 15-year anniversary with a special airing on September 2. Also available on ITVX.

Caroline Sale, Line Producer, The Chase
BAFTA award-winning Line Producer, Caroline Sale, is Line Producer at production company Potato, which is part of ITV Studios. Through her role as Line Producer, Caroline sees a range of programmes through from set up to filming, postproduction and final delivery. Since joining Potato in 2012, Caroline has worked on The Chase and its successful spin-offs including the NTA winning Beat the Chasers, The Celebrity Chase and The Family Chase, as well as a number of other game shows, including Winning Combination and Ninja Warrior UK: Race for Glory. Caroline has over two decades of experience in the television industry, during which she has produced a broad range of entertainment programming. Caroline has previously worked for Wall to Wall, Shine Group, Twenty Twenty Television, Endemol, Fresh One Productions and Objective Productions.
Helen Tumbridge, Executive Producer, Potato
BAFTA award-winning Executive Producer Helen Tumbridge is an Executive Producer at production company Potato, which is part of ITV Studios.
Since joining Potato in 2014, Helen has Executive Produced the BAFTA award-winning series The Chase and its successful spin-offs including the NTA winning Beat the Chasers, The Celebrity Chase and The Family Chase, as well as a number of other game shows, including Winning Combination and Ninja Warrior UK: Race for Glory.
Helen has over three decades of experience in the television industry, during which she has produced a broad range of entertainment programming. For twenty years, Helen worked at the BBC producing shows such as The Eurovision Song Contest, The Royal Variety Performance, Children In Need Rocks, When Will I Be Famous? and Outtake TV. Before becoming a producer, Helen was an Assistant Producer on Noel's House Party, The Generation Game and The Mark Steel Lectures.
Following her time at BBC, Helen moved to Thames Television where she Series Produced hit shows including Blockbusters and Take Me Out: The Gossip and National Lottery: Break the Safe, as well as Edit Produced Take Me Out.

Kelly-Anne Taylor
Kelly-Anne Taylor is an award-winning journalist and broadcaster. She currently hosts the Radio Times Podcast in which she sits down with a celebrity guest to talk about their lives through the prism of TV. She interviewed Dame Emma Thompson about the reality of long-lasting marriage, chatted to Dame Joanna Lumley about being broke in the Swinging Sixties, joked with Nicole Kidman about the perils of being a ‘tall woman’ and spoke to Olivia Colman about the gender pay gap in the film industry. She is also a TV and film critic and serves up weekly reviews on the Smart TV podcast. She is a regular critic on BBC radio.
How will the online event work?
This event will be live streamed via Zoom.us. Viewing details will be sent via your confirmation.
Attending participants will not be visible to others and will be muted throughout the session. After the talk, there will be an opportunity for audience members to ask their questions to the panel by using the Q&A feature.
