In Conversation with Writer and Director of The Novice

Join us for a conversation with writer-director of The Novice, Lauren Hadaway.

We will be joined by Lauren Hadaway, who will be discussing her career journey from post-production and sound to writer and director of her debut feature film and the process of making The Novice.

There will also be time at the end of the discussion to ask questions during the Q&A.

Attendees will also be offered the option to select a ticket to view The Novice. Screener links are limited for this event and available on a first come-first-serve basis. The deadline to select a ticket with a screener link is Friday 29 April at 16:00. 

Film Synopsis 

A college freshman joins her university's rowing team and undertakes an obsessive physical and psychological journey to make it to the top varsity boat, no matter the cost.

Lauren Hadaway, Writer and Director

Lauren Hadaway is a writer and director who comes from the post-production sound world. She’s a 2018 Outfest Screenwriting Lab Fellow. She’s from Texas, and she recently relocated to Paris from Los Angeles

How will the online event work?

This event will be live streamed via Zoom.us. Viewing details will be sent via your confirmation.

Attending participants will not be visible to others and will be muted throughout the session. After the talk, there will be an opportunity for audience members to ask their questions to the panel by using the Q&A feature.
