About the Event
WFTV members are invited to this online panel discussion exploring the path of the influencer and how many digital talents are using their platforms as a showreel for potential commissioners.
The panel will include BBC’s The Great British Sewing Bee 2022 winner Annie Philips, Anna Whitehouse AKA ‘Mother Pukka’ and co-host of multi-award-winning podcast You Me & The Big C, Lauren Mahon.
Together, they will explore how traditional entertainment and media formats are being challenged by digital formats, along with the saturation of the podcast space by digital talent. They’ll also investigate how the relationship between digital talent and their followers can benefit TV and broadcast by looking into the way they’ve shaped their audiences.
The panel will be moderated by Head of Influencer Talent at Gleam Futures, Katie Ray. There will be an opportunity to ask the panel any questions during the final 15 minutes of the discussion.
