About the Event
As part of WFTV's Upskilling programme, WFTV members are invited to this online webinar with coach Camilla Wells, where you’ll be introduced to a toolkit to help you communicate skilfully, effectively, and with confidence.
At a time when the industry is facing many challenges and in a state of flux, now more than ever, there is a need for clear and confident communication. This session will act as an introduction to the way you tackle an unresolved issue, have a difficult conversation, obtain a new role, manage a team, pitch, or engage in public speaking. Camilla will explore tools such as her Assertiveness model, which supports to unlock effective communication.
There will be an opportunity to ask host Camilla Wells questions during the last 15 minutes of the session.

Camilla Wells
Camilla practised in Family Law and Crime as a Barrister for 22 years. She encountered all manner of challenging cases involving drug trafficking, sexual assaults, violence, domestic violence, child abuse, abduction… She left the Bar 3 years ago and trained with the Tavistock Institute to Coach and has Coached extensively at all levels in the TV Industry.
In connection with a Clinical Psychologist, she devised bespoke Training for the Legal and TV Industries to raise awareness and protect professionals against the exposure to trauma in their work.
She now runs training programmes for Lawyers and the TV Industry as well as coaching predominantly in TV. She is passionate about safeguarding the well-being of those who work hard to tackle the most challenging aspects of human nature. She is proud to be one of the first to bring awareness to this extremely important subject.

How will the online event work?
This event will be live streamed via Zoom.us. Viewing details will be sent via your confirmation.
Attending participants will not be visible to others and will be muted throughout the session. After the talk, there will be an opportunity for audience members to ask their questions to the panel by using the Q&A feature.
