About IPC:

The role of IPC was created to advocate for the safety of performers and embed care into the creative process. Our work is centred in the belief that preventative practice is key to sustaining a resilient cast while keeping creative vision in tact. By supporting production companies in their ongoing efforts to embrace best practice, we are committed to advocating for a safer, healthier entertainment industry.

Tome Levi:

Tome is the founder of the pioneering industry role of IPC and the director of Injury Prevention Consultancy Ltd.

Since her creation of the role in 2018, Tome has consulted for West End shows, national and international tours, and provides IPC services to actors and creatives working on screen productions. As a passionate advocate for safety and wellbeing in the entertainment industry, she continues to shine a spotlight on the importance of proactive care, most recently as a presenter at the 2022 Q4 Health and Safety Executive’s Joint Advisory Committee for Entertainment.

Last year Tome launched the Best Practice Guidelines For Injury Prevention In Stage & Screen Production, setting the standard for best practice in theatre, film and HETV production. These guidelines continue to gain support from industry organisations, including Film London and the IOSH Theatre Advisory Group.
