CAMERA invites you to visit its Innovation Studio based at the Bottle Yard Studios in Bristol for an exclusive tour of the facilities, talk by Martin Parsons (Creative Lead at CAMERA) and networking.
Learn more about motion capture and the opportunities open to freelancers and production companies in the south west available at CAMERA’s Innovation Studio, from free tailored workshops to bespoke business support.
Martin will be giving an introduction to motion capture and tour of the state-of-the-art digital innovation studio, showcasing some of the recent projects completed and facilities available at the Studio to help you develop your project.
Following the talk there will be networking and drinks. Join us for an evening of inspiration and socialising and come meet other women working in the film and TV industry in the south west in a friendly and informal setting.
Event Schedule:
18:30: Arrival and check-in
19:00: Tour of Innovation Studio and demonstration
19:30: Talk by Martin Parson (Creative Lead), followed by audience Q&A
20:00-21:00: Networking drinks with WFTV members and friends
Martin Parsons is Creative Lead at CAMERA Innovation Studio and is an Emmy award winning former VFX artist with 30 years’ experience in the film and TV industry. He even boasts his own wand drawer at Harry Potter World!
Eva Martino is the Creative Studio Producer at CAMERA Innovation Studio, a performance and visual art producer, creative thinker and cultural programmer. She has 15 years’ experience working both internationally, and in the UK engaging in a varied range of projects from visual and performance art and music to technology and socially engaged practice.

CAMERA performs world-leading research in Intelligent Visual and Interactive Technology, underpinned by academic and partner expertise across both core EPSRC research disciplines - Computer Vision, Graphics, Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and AI - as well expertise in healthcare, rehabilitation, biomechanics, musculoskeletal modelling, sports performance, and psychology.
