WFTV in Cardiff: 1-2-1 CV Clinic for Production Freelancers with Hannah Gosney & Member Meet-up

Your CV is crucial to showcasing your experience and is the way to open doors to your next role.

WFTV is hosting a day of 1-2-1 CV clinics in Cardiff with Hannah Gosney, Head of Production and founder of Media Career Advice, for production freelancers who are looking for advice on refreshing your CV. This is an opportunity to receive constructive feedback on how to best present your skills and character whilst also being relevant to the jobs and roles you are looking to apply for.

In this session you will have the opportunity to have a 30-minute consultation focussed on your CV and receive advice on areas you can upskill to help you progress and find your next role. Following your 1-2-1 you are invited to join fellow WFTV members and network over a coffee.

In advance of the session to maximise the opportunity, you will be asked to submit a copy of your CV for Hannah to review, as well as a short summary paragraph of questions you would like to discuss. Please note this opportunity is for WFTV members working in production and crew roles and priority will be given to freelance production talent and crew, including production management, craft, post-production and technical roles who do not usually have access to professional development support through work.

Hannah Gosney is a Head of Production and Senior Production Manager as well as founder and owner of Media Career Advice. In her role she’s been responsible for hiring and managing teams in all positions on both small and large scale productions.  She’s perfectly placed to provide career advice and support and offers an employers perspective to ensure your CV, cover letter and interview will give you the best chance at achieving your career goals. She is also a Level 3 qualified ILM Coach & Mentor, has a Level 3 Train the Trainer qualification and a Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
