The challenges of filming schedules, Covid-19 anxiety, post-traumatic stress, demanding work schedules, adapting to new filming practices and social distancing have all had a large impact on mental health. This session will focus on understanding mental health and will help individuals increase their own resilience giving them the tools to recognise the signs and offer support to people suffering from mental distress.
Sarah McCaffrey (MBACP), founder of Solas Mind will lead this mental health workshop. Sarah has combined her experience working in film and media and as a qualified psychotherapist (MBACP) and Suicide First Aid trainer to create Solas Mind; offering mental health support to the industry, including counselling and accredited training
