About the Event

In this event, Henry Coulam and Dani Fletcher from Film Store will be giving an overview of the different cameras and equipment available to filmmakers today.

They will showcase current popular camera configurations from the worlds of documentary, natural history, specialist factual, entertainment, music and commercials. We will look at why certain cameras and lenses are used for acquiring different types of content and how a production being editorially or creatively driven can impact the choice of equipment and how it is shot. They will also be sharing case studies from past productions and shoots as examples.

This session is entry or refresher level for self-shooters and crew and anyone looking for practical advice on kit solutions. Those working in production may find this session useful to gain a further understanding of current trends in technology on location.
