Writers’ Group: In conversation with Agent Andrew Mills, Revolution Talent

For January’s Writers’ Group host Christina Pickworth will be in conversation with Agent Andrew Mills from Revolution Talent chatting all things writer representation for film and TV.

Find out what agents are looking for, how and when to approach them (and how not to!) and hear tips for finding and working with an agent.

Andrew has been a talent manager working with screenwriters, directors and dramatic rights for nearly twenty years, including running his own firm JAB Management for eight years before joining Revolution in 2021.

His clients range from first time filmmakers to BAFTA winners and Oscar nominees, working in all genres and media around the world.

Christina Pickworth, Agent, Imagine Talent

Christina is an agent for writers and directors at a small, bespoke agency Imagine Talent, with a list that focuses on emerging talent and female voices. Christina has written feature films, consulted for production companies and financiers, and freelanced at United Agents, as well as spending several years working in film development finance for a fund that invested in 300 British film projects over three years. Christina has previously sat on the selection committee for the BAFTA Rocliffe screenwriting competitions, and she consults for Stage 32, Industrial Scripts and Reel One Entertainment.

How will the online event work?

This event will be live streamed via Zoom.us. Viewing details will be sent via your confirmation.

Attending participants will not be visible to others and will be muted throughout the session. After the talk, there will be an opportunity for audience members to ask their questions to the panel by using the Q&A feature.
