Writers’ Group: In Conversation with Nicky Bentham

Join us for this month’s writers’ group for a conversation with Nicky Bentham, producer and Founder of Neon Films.

In conversation with Christina Pickworth, Nicky will be sharing about her producing career so far, including her feature films Moon and The Duke, and her recent short film The After, nominated for this year’s Academy Awards, as well as what draws her to projects and how she works with writers.

Nicky Bentham is founder of London based production company Neon Films. She has recently been Oscar nominated for the short film THE AFTER, directed by photographer Misan Harriman, it stars David Oyelowo and is currently on Netflix. Last year she produced the thriller LOCKED IN with Gaumont UK and Netflix, directed by Nour Wazzi, which reached the global number 1. Previous producing credits include THE DUKE starring Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren directed by Roger Michell, and the multi-award winning MOON.…
