Writers’ Group: In Conversation with Award-winning Feature Film Screenwriter, Olivia Hetreed

Join Women in Film & TV UK for a conversation with Olivia Hetreed, the award-winning  screenwriter of Girl with a Pearl Earring, starring Scarlett Johansson and Colin Firth, a critically acclaimed adaptation of Wuthering Heights directed by Andrea Arnold, and Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, the global box office hit starring Lesley Manville.

Her international films include Bosnia’s first animated feature, Birds Like Us, Iraq’s Oscar entry The Journey, and Spanish-UK co-pro Finding Altamira, directed by Hugh Hudson and starring Antonio Banderas.

Hosted by Christina Pickworth (Agent, Imagine Talent), Olivia will be discussing her career and offering insight to her creative process writing feature films and adaptations, as well as sharing advice for writers navigating the industry. There will also be time for audience members to ask questions at the end of the talk.
