Hosted by Christina Pickworth, Suhayla will be sharing her journey in the industry so far, experience writing for TV dramas Hollyoaks, Becoming Elizabeth and Ackley Bridge as well as her upcoming feature film Brides which is currently in post-production. Suhayla will be offering insight to writing for different mediums and her process when approaching projects.

Suhayla El-Bushra is a screenwriter and playwright. Her BFI funded feature film, Brides (Neon Films) is currently in post-production. She has written for TV drama series Hollyoaks, Becoming Elizabeth and was a lead writer and executive producer on Ackley Bridge (C4/The Forge). She is developing series ideas for C4, Avalon and The Forge.
