About the Event

For this month’s Writers’ Group, host Christina Pickworth will be in conversation with Professor Adam Ganz, Head of the Writers Room at StoryFutures Academy.

With immersive technologies vastly developing and the expansion of virtual productions in the UK, Christina will be discussing with Adam how writers from the worlds of film, TV and games can transition their craft and storytelling skills to write for virtual productions.

Adam will be giving an introduction to VR and immersive technologies, offering insight to the creative process of writing for a production and highlight some of the possibilities that can be explored by writers through these new technologies.

After the talk there will be time for the audience to ask questions during the Q&A.
