VIRTUAL MEMBERS' CLUB

08 March 2021 | 19:00 - 20:30

To celebrate International Women’s Day, you are invited to join our virtual members’ club – WFTV's The House.

We have brought together some great talent from across the Film and TV industry to host each of the rooms in our virtual members’ club.

Once in the virtual door you can choose to visit the Director's Den, the Composer's Studio, the Actor's Green Rooms, our Commissioner's Corners, the Writer's Rooms or get involved with a cocktail masterclass in the bar. The idea is that you choose the hosts you’d like to meet, and we’ll place you and a handful of other members in their room to enjoy a drink and a creative conversation.

Budget 2021: What will it mean for you?

Tuesday 09 March | 14:00 – 15:00

As the budget looms, there is much speculation about how the government will find ways to fill the gap made by extra borrowing due to Coronavirus. There is talk about introducing new taxes, such as a wealth tax, or perhaps raising existing taxes. Questions have also been circulating about when such changes are likely to take effect or whether there will be any additional incentives to assist the recovery of the film and TV sector.

At this webinar, Mike Hayes, tax partner at media specialist accountants and advisers Moore Kingston Smith, will provide an easy-to-digest summary to give you a clearer understanding on how these changes might affect businesses and individuals in the media sector.
