About the Event
The WFTV Four Nations Mentoring Scheme is a programme designed for women looking to take a significant step in their career. We have four dedicated regions that our schemes cover: England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
If you are thinking about entering for one of the WFTV mentoring schemes and would like to find out more about the schemes work and how to apply, then this event is for you.
Join WFTV's CEO Katie Bailiff, Director of Mentoring Programme, Tracy Forsyth and Mentoring Producers Sarah McCaffrey (Northern Ireland), Karen Kelly (Scotland) and Hannah Corneck (Wales) in conversation to explain the areas and content that the schemes cover and advise on the crucial information you need to include when completing your application.

Katie Bailiff is the CEO of Women in Film & TV (UK). Katie was previously creative director and partner at Century Films. As an award-winning producer Katie’s credits include Feltham Sings, The Secret History of Our Streets, Camila’s Kids Company: The Inside Story, Abused by My Girlfriend and Terms and Conditions: A UK Drill Story.
Tracy Forsyth has had a hugely successful career in television which took her all over the world from London to New York and has worked as both a freelancer and corporate boss. At BBC Studios she was Divisional Director of Factual Entertainment & Formats and an integral part of the Global Leadership Team. She is a board advisor to independent production companies and the owner of her own consultancy business, Walter & Wootze Ltd. A working mother, she has juggled and hustled all the way through her career to the very top. Tracy is a professionally certified Executive Coach (CPCC, PCC). Her focus is on Career Confidence, developing Fearless Leaders & Executive Resilience. She has been described by clients as ‘an empowering force, transformational and revelatory and inspiring’. She coaches senior leaders of corporate companies, CEOs of private companies and works as a strategic and business consultant for founders of SMEs. Tracy’s motto is to ‘enlighten, empower and enhance lives and careers in order to change the world for the better’. Tracy is Director of Mentoring at Women in Film & Television in the UK, designing and hosting an annual 6 month programme that empowers women to achieve greater heights and impact in their careers. The scheme has been described as ‘life & game-changing’.
Sarah McCaffrey is the Mentoring Producer for the WFTV Mentor Scheme in Northern Ireland, and also works within the Business Affairs team at BBC Children’s. Until 2017 she was the Senior Channel Management Executive at ITV in Northern Ireland (UTV) and has a variety of production and business affairs experience in drama, digital, animation and children’s content.
Hannah Corneck is WFTV’s Mentoring Producer for Wales. Hannah’s career started in journalism before moving into factual production where she worked for over 20 years launching and producing shows like DIY SOS: The Big Build, Comic and Sport Relief documentaries and cookery series with Michel Roux Junior, The Hairy Bikers and Tom Kerridge. She is now a coach, professional development designer and trainer who supports people working in the creative industries to be their best, most fulfilled and confident selve
