Last night at the WFTV AGM, which took place at the Garden Cinema in central London, our chair Isabel Begg was delighted to announce the appointment of two new member directors to our board: Addie Orfila, Screen Industries Consultant, Leadership & Inclusion Coach, and Sunrise Ishimwe, Scripted Development Coordinator, voted for by our members.
Addie says
“As a WFTV Member Director, I will champion the voices of women across the UK - especially those outside of London - while advocating for inclusive leadership, fair working cultures, and accessible professional development. I believe that when people feel safe, supported, and seen, they thrive - and so does the industry. My core mission is simple: to help our screen industry where everyone, especially women, can thrive and lead.”
Sunrise says
“In an ever-changing industry, WFTV remains a constant. A space where women can feel seen and supported. I’m honoured to continue this legacy: to foster connection, solidarity, opportunity and ensure that no one is left behind as the landscape evolves.”

We're so pleased to welcome Addie and Sunrise to our board, and thank you to everyone who applied and voted.
