Film festivals for 2020 have had to rapidly adapt from being physical and in-person events to being hosted online with the government enforced lockdowns being implemented worldwide. The nature of the sudden lockdowns meant most festivals had to be cancelled, rescheduled or to go online.
Bringing film festivals to an online platform brings unfamiliar territory for filmmakers navigating decisions on submitting films and sharing their work online.

Her background is in writing with a BA from Bournemouth Media School in Scriptwriting for Film & TV as well as being a graduate of the Royal Court London’s prolific writing group. With over a decade and counting of experience handling festival strategies she’s hosted workshops and masterclasses for a broad range of audiences including: Encounters Film Festival, Independent Cinema Office, Cork Film Festival, Aesthetica, BFI Flare, Heartland Film Festival, Raindance, Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival, Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival and more.
